Commission on the release of the French growth

The Minister for the Economy, Finances and Employment presented a decree establishing a commission on the release of the French growth.

This commission, whose creation was announced on June 20^th by the President of the Republic, is charged to examine the conditions of a release of the French growth, like it was done in 1960 by the committee of experts which had published the “Report of the Committee for the removal of the obstacles to the economic expansion” of Jacques Rueff and Louis Armand.

It has the role of seeking the means of improving competitiveness and the productivity of the French economy in order to ensure a better insertion of France in the world and European economy. It will analyze the obstacles facing the projects of investment and development of the companies, in particular the small ones and medium-sized companies. It will examine simplifications of procedures which appear necessary and will seek the levers making it possible to improve the impact of the economic policies and lawful on the behaviors of the households and the contractors and on the growth.

It will formulate proposals in order to increase the purchasing power of the French, to improve operation of the market of the goods and services and to reinforce the dynamism and the job mobility, as well as the activity ratio. It will identify the actions and reforms to be carried out, including innovating mechanisms making it possible to carry the adhesion of the actors concerned.

The commission, chaired by Mr. Jacques Attali, gathers many French and foreign personalities having an affirmed expertise of economic and social matter.

The commission will submit his report before the end of the year.

Commission pour la libération de la croissance française

La ministre de l’Economie, des Finances et de l’Emploi a présenté un décret instituant une commission pour la libération de la croissance française.

Cette commission, dont la création a été annoncée le 20 juin dernier par le Président de la République, est chargée d’examiner les conditions d’une libération de la croissance française, à l’image du comité d’experts qui avait abouti à la publication en 1960 du "Rapport du Comité pour la suppression des obstacles à l’expansion économique" de Jacques Rueff et Louis Armand.

Elle a pour mission de rechercher les moyens d’améliorer la compétitivité et la productivité de l’économie française afin d’assurer une meilleure insertion de la France dans l’économie mondiale et européenne. Elle analysera les obstacles auxquels se heurtent les projets d’investissement et de développement des entreprises, en particulier les petites et moyennes entreprises. Elle examinera les simplifications de procédures qui apparaissent nécessaires et recherchera les leviers permettant d’améliorer l’impact des politiques économiques et réglementaires sur les comportements des ménages et des entrepreneurs et sur la croissance.

Elle formulera des propositions en vue d’augmenter le pouvoir d’achat des Français, d’améliorer le fonctionnement du marché des biens et des services et de renforcer le dynamisme et la mobilité de l’emploi, ainsi que le taux d’activité. Elle identifiera les actions et réformes à mener, incluant des mécanismes innovants permettant d’emporter l’adhésion des acteurs concernés.

La commission, présidée par M. Jacques Attali, rassemble de nombreuses personnalités françaises et étrangères disposant d’une expertise affirmée en matière économique et sociale.

La commission remettra son rapport avant la fin de l’année.

In Shanghai, the French Embassy in China was in charge of this happening, and they’ve decided to end it by inviting Louis Bertignac, which is the ex-leader of the ex-well-known "Téléphone" band (they played rock n’ roll in France during the 80’s, and are still really esteemed in France).

But where it starts to suuuuuuck is that this "cultural" event was hosted in the "Millionnaire Fair"!!! For whose who don’t know what’s that event, it’s an exhibition where you can see rich (?) people going shopping their next Rolls Royce, wearing the last Gucci stuff and drinking some champaaagne…

Never mind…

Second thing: according to the French Embassy in China, Culture (with a big "C") wouldn’t be accessible for everybody! Yep! You’ve read well!!! If you wanna attend to this cultural event, promoting exchanges between France and China, you’ll need to have a -V.I.P- invitation!!!??? It reminds me some colonials inscription in China, a long time ago: "Interdit aux chiens et aux Chinois". Translation: "Forbidden to dogs and to Chinese people" (chien and chinois have similar pronunciation in French). Maybe organizers really couldn’t open this event to everyone (I’m really wondering why!?…). In that case, the question is: do we -the French community- have to set up such kind of happening if the local people can’t enjoy it???

Third point: the organization was totally pitiful, because Louis Bertignac concert should started at 00:40am, but actually started at… 2:30am!
So, 4 or 5 songs later (maybe around 3:30am?), the Police brutally stopped the concert!

 
I’ve read a lot of comments on Internet saying that the Chinese Police was wrong and it’s an injustice that they’d censored this concert.
I don’t agree.

We are in China. China is NOT a democracy (I think so!… Tell me if I’m saying a mistake!). So, if you wanna set up an event like the "Nuit Blanche", you should first settle the basic arrangement with Chinese authorities: essentially, the Red Envelope (call that as you want!). Yes, because that’s nice to want to organize French event in China, but we’ve to follow Chinese rules! It’s just a question of respect. Officially, all the entertainment events should stop at 2am everyday. If you want to continue later, you should prior arrange it!!! What a pathetic vision of France with this story…

More over, the big-fat-guy in white at the end of the movie is blaming the public! What a shame! This guy is -probably- from the French Consulate, and he should apologize for his lack of experience managing such kind of event!

Last but not least, there is only one thing on what we can convict Chinese Police: they never respect Artists!
BUT.
It IS organizers vocation to protect Artists during events. And one more time, as you can see in the video, they’ve miserably failed…

An intrepid climber dubbed the "French Spiderman" was expelled from China on Tuesday after five days in prison for illegally climbing the country’s tallest building.

Alain Robert was arrested after having scaled and descended the 430m (1,380 foot) Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai, dressed in his trademark Spiderman costume and without any ropes or safety equipment.
 
 
Last Thursday, at 2:20pm, Robert, 45, had decided to start mounting the iron-and-glass structure without permission after authorities turned down two requests.

"If you obey all the rules, you miss the fun", Robert said in an interview ahead of his ascent.
Robert alerted the media beforehand, therefore, his climb brought traffic to a standstill and attracted a large crowd of onlookers near the 88-storey tower, many snapping pictures with their mobile phones.

After climbing to the top of the tower and giving a cheeky salute, Robert made a safe descent, arriving on the ground about 4pm. On the way down, Robert, ever the showman, took off his mask, waved to the appreciative crowd, and even stopped to pose for photographers. As he was taken away by police he received a resounding cheer from onlookers.

In fact the third film in the Spider-Man series has just screened in city cinemas, drawing big crowds.

On April 23, 2005, Guizhou Province native Han Degui reached the 86th floor of Jin Mao Tower. Han descended with the help of police and was taken into custody for 15 days. On February 18, 2001, shoe salesman Han Qizhi, "struck by a rash impulse," became the first person to scale the tower. He was detained for two weeks.

The 45-year-old "urban climber" has been tackling the world’s tallest buildings - often illegally - since 1994, according to his website.
In 1998 in Japan, he was sentenced to 20 days in prison for climbing a Tokyo tower, although he was released after five days following the intervention of the French ambassador.
The daredevil was also arrested during an attempt to climb Malaysia’s 88-storey Petronas Twin Towers in March this year after reaching the 60th floor.
