I’ve recently leafed through this paper book, and some pictures are really worth seeing.
This book brings together a vast selection of images by 88 Chinese photographers since 1949, giving readers a visual journey across the great People’s Republic.
The most interesting shots are undoubtedly the ones before the 80s. I guess that most of the foreigners living in China didn’t see these pictures (or was I the only one?). I dunno if Chinese people -born after the 70s- have already seen it (I’ve to confess that I’ve never opened an official Chinese History book in order to read and see what is shown to the nowadays citizens).
