On April 11th & 12th, we’ve been to Shèngsì (嵊泗) island for a mix of downhill, freeride & aggressive skating.
This place combines flat roads along the sea, roads going down from the top of the mountains, stairs, gaps, fun boxes…
In short, it’s a great spot for using surroundings as our playground
First kilometers along the coast:
And Marmotte started to go crazy:
After going uphill, we’ve found a nice place for some big jumps:
And a factory with a double box and wallride:
As usual, we had a small car to put our stuff and, most important, to use it on uphill as chairlift!
Marmotte took the chance to experiment a new concept. Mixing aggressive skates with freeskates.
I already seen some people putting aggressive frames on fitness skates or freeskates, but I never seen anybody doing the contrary!!!
Thanks to UFS system (Universal Frame System), Marmotte put my Salomon Crossmax 3 frames on his Xsjado!
And the result was awesome:

It was two nice days, enjoying sunbathing and fresh marine air!
Shengsi is once and for all a great place for inline skating, rollerskating, skateboarding, longboarding & cycling
Here are our tracks (27km on the first day -see the green line-, and 16km on the second day -see the yellow line-):
We’ve also met nice people, except an embittered local guy who called the cops because we’ve entered a supposed military area!…
Actually, we’ve arrived at a crossroad, and he said that foreigners can’t continue from this point. The funny thing is that I already entered this area with other foreign friends many times in the past years, for mountainbike, rollerskating and even camping!
So, just enjoy some pictures, taken 2 years ago, of this "forbidden area" hahaha
