Freedom of space

Filed under: Rollerskating, China, Biking — atomicskate @ 4:32 pm — 1227 Views

Ok, this video is talking about skateboard, but it could be enlarge to rollerskate, BMX & MTB, stunt…

Hope that one day, local authorities (I don’t speak specifically about China, but everywhere all over the world!…) would understand what is said on this video ;-)
The narrator is true: when you’re a rider, you look at the cities as an experiencing environment: stairs, walls, handrails, gaps, …
"Public space" just doesn’t have the same meaning.

Welcome to Beijing, but don’t speak too much

北京欢迎你,但是不要说话跟外国人 中文

It seems that if you go to Beijing during the Olympics, you can’t communicate interact with local people, because it’s not a good etiquette…
Chinese people won’t be able to reply to your questions and they won’t ask you anything. In this way, no smudge is possible ;-)
Here are the posters with guiding rules:How to Interact with Foreigners

Translation:

“Eight Don’t-Asks” When Chatting with Foreign Guests
- Don’t ask about income or expenses
- Don’t ask about age
- Don’t ask about love life or marriage
- Don’t ask about health
- Don’t ask about someone’s home or address
- Don’t ask about personal experience
- Don’t ask about religious beliefs or political views
- Don’t ask what someone does

mmm… Actually I think that speaking about weather isn’t forbidden. Great.
