Two weeks ago, our bi-weekly Shanghai Rollerskating ride by night gathered more than 35 riders rambling in the city streets (here are the pictures and the slideshow!). It was really awesome!
This Wednesday, May 30th, I suggest to do it again; this time, thru the former French concession, up to ZhongShan Park!
Hereafter are the details for the next session:
Wednesday, May 30th:
What: It will be a ride around Puxi by night, through small roads during one hour and half, staying in the downtown. No minimum level required 
We’ll wait the beginners and the pros can enjoy the speed ahead! Bikers and skateboarders are also welcome! Zoom on the map and click on the markers in order to see the details of the circuit.
Where: Let’s meet in front of the Shanghai Concert Hall (Jinling Lu by Xizang Lu, nearby People’s Square). The closest subway stations are HuangPi Nan Lu and People’s Square.
When: At 8:15pm!
Track on Google.
If you don’t have skate shoes, you can rent it at the skateshops on the subway station Shanghai Science and Technology Museum (at Pudong).
PS1: If it rains, or if the ground is still wet due to the rain, we cancel the session.
PS2: Arrived in ZhongShan Park, those who want to go back by subway will be able to do it because there are trains up to 11pm. And for those who wanna continue, we’ll go up to WuJiang Lu (nearby Shimen Yi Lu) in order to have a meal together

这个星期三，五月五号，我建议做一样的；这次走以前的法租界，向中山公园！
我希望你应该想要和我们一起轮滑！以下是时间表：
星期三，五月三十号：
做什么： 在浦西街上轮滑，欣赏夜景。初学者可以来！ 你也可以用自行车或者滑板。如果你要看我们的线路，请点击地图。
哪里： 在上海市音乐厅 碰面（金陵路 西藏路口）。最近的地铁站是人民广场站或者黄陂南路站。
时间： 晚上八点十五分钟!
如果你没有轮滑鞋，你可以在科技馆地铁站租一双。
PS1: 如果下雨，我们会取消活动。
PS2: 到了的时候在中山公园，如果你要回家，你可以坐地铁（末班火车在十一点钟）。但是，如果你还要继续，我们一起去吴江路为了吃晚饭！

cool… last time i skated around ZhongShan park area - twice - by accident, got (really!) lost looking for IKEA! didn’t find it that time, got a cab somewhere near HongQiao airport i think! (just kidding)

I would love to come but i’m in hangzhou at the moment. When is the next one? also, i am living in hangzhou at the moment and was wondering if there was anything like this going on in hangzhou.

uuuh… IKEA’s not really nearby ZhongShan Park
and hans stam, the next one should be on Wednesday, June 13th. I’ll confirm it later on my website.
concerning Hangzhou, I don’t know if somebody organize it… I guess that there are some Chinese club planning it. You should check Chinese websites.

Jay, indeed, it would be great if it could be like "Friday Fever" in Paris 7 years ago!!! I hope so! We will see with the next upcoming sessions!

Last Wednesday, we’ve increased one more time our number of participants: 42 riders from all over the world (including New Zealand!!!). Nice ride around the former French concession
I have to congratulate the beginners for their bravery to follow us!!!

sure, i’d be very interested to join in a weeekend trip, but it bettter be somewhere really REALLY nice so i have a good excuse not to go to work! (since i only really have to be at work in weekends

Regarding our weekend trip destination, we’ll talk about that this Wednesday, but you know what Shanghai is… so if you are acquainted by a "really REALLY nice" area nearby our city, pleeeease inform me!!!
