How to upgrade your Chinese D-Link DI-624+A to English?

Filed under: Tech corner, China — atomicskate @ 6:52 pm — 1397 Views

UPDATED on May 1st, 2007 - I’ve bought a Chinese D-Link DI-624+A and even if the user interface in not so complex, I think that it’s easier to have the English version
DI-624+A Rev. A2 or DI-524 Rev.B ???But that’s not so easy to upgrade the firmware from a Chinese version to an English one…

As I didn’t find anything on the web, I’ve finally found it by myself and I will explain the procedure hereafter. Maybe it would be useful for some of you!

When I’ve watched this video, it immediately reminds me our rollerskating sessions in Paris…
Free rides on the small streets, jumping everywhere, going down on the Champs-Elysées…
Moreover, this guy as the same Salomon Crossmax as me

We should do such kind of videos in Shanghai!!!

Interpretation of results from studies on GSM health effects

GSM health effectsAccording to a swiss consortium, the interpretation of results from studies on GSM health effects are distorted by their sponsorship funding.

Everybody is aware about the concern regarding the possible health effects of cellular telephone use. These independent (?!) scientists have examined whether the source of funding of studies of the effects of low-level radiofrequency radiation is associated with the results of studies. They’ve conducted a systematic review of studies of controlled exposure to radiofrequency radiation with health-related outcomes (electroencephalogram, cognitive or cardiovascular function, hormone levels, symptoms, and subjective well-being).

Of 59 studies, 12 (20%) were funded exclusively by the telecommunications industry, 11 (19%) were funded by public agencies or charities, 14 (24%) had mixed funding (including industry) , and in 22 (37%) the source of funding was not reported. Studies funded exclusively by industry reported the largest number of outcomes, but were least likely to report a statistically significant result: The odds ratio was 0.11 (95% confidence interval, 0.02–0.78) , compared with studies funded by public agencies or charities.
